Ragged Point is located off Highway 1 on the Central Coast of California just south of Big Sur and 15 minutes north of San Simeon, the loction of famous Hearst Castle. The Ragged Point Inn is situated on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Each room has an unforgettable coastline view, as you will see in these photos. Piedras Blancas

Piedras Blancas is located about 8 miles north of San Simeon, CA.  It is not only known for it's lighthouse, but also for it's large elephant seal colony.  This area is so interesting that an entire page of this site has been devoted to the Peidras Blancas Elephant Seal Rookery.  You have to view these pictures.  Click here for the wonderful photos.
