In Zion National Park, precipitous canyon walls and massive monoliths, sculpted by the ceaseless action of the Virgin River, lie in every direction.  Here, formations in stone are on a grand scale, soaring thousands of feet above from the lush floor of Zion Canyon. Be sure to bring your hiking shoes when you visit Zion.
